TAOS LAND TRUST
fostering a legacy of
open and productive lands
for future generations
~Quality of Life~
Tree-lined acequias and irrigated farmland, expansive sagebrush mesas, wide-open views--the extraordinary landscape in and around Taos is one of our greatest assets and lies at the core of our community's distinctive rural character and quality of life.

~Economics~
The abundance of inspirational views and open and productive lands is part of what has always made the Taos area such a vibrant and appealing place to traditional communities, new residents and visitors alike, directly fueling much of the local economy. Preserving our open lands through conservation--balanced with thoughtful development--guarantees long-term prosperity for us all.

~Legacy~
The traditional land-based cultures of northern New Mexico have stewarded the land and water of this region for centuries. We have the opportunity to continue that tradition and conserve the very best qualities of this beautiful landscape for many generations yet to come.

Land conservation fosters a high quality of life, contributes to a sane and healthy economy, and is an essential legacy we can leave for our children and grandchildren.
